How to Find Cheap Hotels in Hong Kong, China?

One of the things that we need to remember when visiting Hong Kong, China is to consider in checking out some cheap Hong Kong hotels. Cheap doesn’t mean low quality in terms of cleanliness, amenities provided, foods offered, and customer service. According to my good friend who’s been living in Hong Kong for more than a decade, there are lots of cheap but amazing hotels around the area as long as you know where and how to find those places. If ever I will visit Hong Kong, it will not be hard for me to find a place because some of my cousins live there and I will use my “charm power” for them to let me stay in their homes. In return, I will buy groceries and cook dinner for them.

Cheap Hong Kong hotels are hard to find most particularly when you do not know anybody. But if you are fortunate enough to find somebody that you know, they might even suggest you to check for apartments in Hong Kong for rent which are considered to be cheaper than hotels. What do you think are the best ways to find cheap hotels in Hong Kong, China?

If I do not know anybody in Hong Kong, I might visit Tripadvisor.com and get some reviews from those people who stayed in those cheap Hong Kong hotels. What about you?
