Fascinating China Culture Facts

Every time I travel to a different country, I always make sure that I know their basic culture like basic greetings, religion, etiquette, and other. When I went to Poland and Japan, I tried to learn the basic language and some interesting culture facts about the country. And the information that I learned helped me a lot to adjust myself when I communicate with the people. If I visit China, one of the most interesting things that I would like to learn is the Chinese etiquette and customs.

So if you are planning to visit China soon, here are the Important China culture facts to keep in mind to understand more about the Chinese cultures:

  •     Ancient Religions and Beliefs: According to the Information Office of the State Council of China, China has different kinds of religion such as Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Catholicism, and Prostantism (Council, 1997) .

  •     Tips on Chinese language: The official language in China is Mandarin in all parts of the country while Cantonese is usually used in the southern part of China and HongKong region. Here are some basic greetings in Mandarin.
